The Licorice Project is a welcoming community for breast cancer patients, survivors and thrivers. Whether someone is newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or a long-time survivor, our community is here to provide support and inspiration.
Over the past decade, we have welcomed more than 1,000 women into our TLP community, hosted more than 100 in-person and virtual events, created a vibrant private Facebook group, and sent out more than 600 TLP Treat Bags.
As a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and embracing people during every stage of the breast cancer journey, we rely on your generosity to support our mission. Thank you for helping us help others!
We Connect People
We’re a breast cancer community based in Chicago. Together, women at all stages can find the strength, humor, and friendship they need. We host seasonal get-togethers, workshops, virtual events, and a private Facebook Group.
We Share Resources
We make it easier for people to find unique, useful, helpful and inspirational information they need when they need it most. Our website is filled with hand-picked resources that can benefit our TLP community.
We Spread Unexpected Joy
Little things can make a BIG difference. That’s why we send out “TLP Treats” to let people know we are thinking about them! Plus, our TLP Wrapping Parties have become a favorite way to bring our community together.
